On the 100th anniversary of the birth of Sulejman Pitarka, a milestone remembered by Minister Blendi Gonxhja with the words: “Today, we remember and honor an outstanding figure of Albanian theater and cinematography, the well-known actor Sulejman Pitarka.”

Through extraordinary interpretations of dozens of roles, Pitarka unveiled the depths of characters in an unimaginable way, rendering these roles unforgettable and irreplaceable in the memories of art lovers. Sulejman Pitarka received numerous honors in theater and cinematography, including the ‘Career’ award, the ‘Great Master of Work’ Medal, ‘People’s Artist,’ and ‘Honorary Citizen’ of Dibra.

Among the many roles played by Pitarka, notable ones include ‘Ballë për ballë’ (1979), ‘Gjeneral Gramafon’ (1978), ‘Pas gjurmëve’ (1978), ‘Gunat përbi Tela’ (1977), ‘Tinguj lufte’ (1976), and numerous other roles cherished by the public.
