Government Lifts Visa Requirements for Citizens of Five Countries for Tourism

The Council of Ministers has decided to temporarily lift visa requirements for citizens of five countries wishing to visit Albania for tourism purposes.
Under the government’s decision, citizens from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Thailand, and Indonesia will be able to enter Albania without a visa. They are permitted to stay for tourism with a “passport” document from April 15 to December 31, 2025.
The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Interior are tasked with implementing this decision.
The decision will take effect upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
