Albania marked the 100th anniversary of the Order of Skanderbeg with a formal ceremony at the Palace of Congresses.

President Bajram Begaj and Prime Minister Edi Rama attended the event, where 22 personalities received national decorations, including the Supreme Order of the Eagle, the Order of Skanderbeg, and the Order of the Academic Oak.

Prime Minister Rama handed the first two commemorative medals to the families of Artan Lame and Filip Rrumbullaku. He praised them for their commitment to reforming the system of state honors.

“They will be remembered for their passion and expertise in national orders and symbols. Tonight, the Republic expresses its gratitude,” Rama said.
