The 11th edition of “Plein Air” takes place at the Shkodra Art Gallery. The exhibition presents more than 50 works by landscape masters.

Fifteen painters take part in this edition. They include Agim Kadillari, Agron Polovina, Anastas Kostandini, Buron Kaceli, Kujtim Buza, Nikolin Ivanaj, Pashk Përvathi, Rikarda Nova, Sadik Kasa, Sefedin Stafa, Vangjo Vasili, Xheneta Kadillari, Zaim Elezi, Ikbale Kalaja, and Skënder Strica.

The exhibition remains open until February 20 at the Shkodra Art Gallery.

“Plein Air” differs from other exhibitions. Artists create the works directly in nature. The exhibition shows the artist’s direct connection with the environment.

A group of landscape painters founded “Plein Air Art Albania” in June 2015.

The artists consider painting in nature an essential need. The association aims to develop Albanian figurative art. It also promotes the beauty of Albanian landscapes and raises the genre of landscape painting to higher levels.
