The first film, directed by Sahra Karim, was shown at the Prestige Resort in Durrës, where some of the refugees took refuge after leaving the country when the Taliban took control. I am touched by the conversations I had today with the Afghans in Durrës after the screening of Sahra Karim’s film. They are grateful for the hospitality,” said Cashku, among others.
He recalled the forums held on justice reform at the School of Magistrates, the refugee and trafficking academy at the Security Academy, and the Luarasi University forum on technology, security, and drones when they fall into the wrong hands.
On the other hand, he presented together with the Italian Deputy Ambassador Alberto Petrangeli the film “I look like my best”, brought to the festival with the help of the Italian Embassy. The main actor of the film, who deals with the clashes between Pashtuns and Hazaras in Afghanistan, Basir Ahang, present at the festival, said that “today marks the 128th anniversary of the biggest massacre against Hazaras in Afghanistan. “And there is a campaign being done everywhere to commemorate this black date.”
