The 22nd edition of the International Theater Festival “Skampa 2020” kicks off in Elbasan under the slogan “Traces”.

Due to anti-covid measures, the organizers have decided that every show be held in attractive open spaces of the city of Elbasan, at cultural heritage sites and squares.

“Everyone will be in open spaces and I think this helps promote the sites that Elbasan offers. “It is a very coveted festival beyond the borders”, says the artistic director of the theater.

“Locked in love” is the show that opens this important international event performed by Luiza Xhuvani and Vasjan Lami.

From September 29th to October 4th, 10 Albanian and foreign participating troupes from Turkey, Montenegro, Kosovo and North Macedonia will perform on the stage.

Festival organizers say all anti-covid measures will be implemented, such as a limited number of spectators, strict observance of distances and equipping artists and spectators with masks.
