550 thousand Euros from the Municipality of Tirana for the construction of a gym in Bujanoc

The Municipality of Tirana has given the southern Serbian city of Bujanoc, with a large ethnic Albanian population, more than half a million Euros to build a gym in an elementary school.
That was confirmed by the mayor of Bujanovac Municipality, Nagip Arifi, as the local media reports.
“Tirana Municipality, that’s to say Mayor Veliaj, has transferred 550 thousand Euros to the Municipality of Bujanoc to build a gym. Thank you Tirana,” said Arifi, adding that a bid will be announced for the project.
Meanwhile, the municipality of Bujanoc itself, through an announcement on social networks, writes that “The Municipality of Tirana has made today the payment of 550,000 Euros dedicated to the construction of the sports gym at the primary school “Naim Frashëri” in Bujanoc. According to the mayor of the municipality of Bujanoc, Nagip Arifi, the bidding procedure is expected to start very soon, so that the pupils of “Naim Frashëri” elementary school will have the opportunity to use this gym.
The mayor of Tirana Veliaj had promised this financing to the speaker of Bujanoc City Assembly, Enver Ramadani last October, after the contribution made for the school “Dituria” in the Municipality of Presheva.
