TIRANA, December 17 – The 64th Song Festival at Albanian Radio and Television (RTSH) began today under the motto “Neo Albania Future,” presenting a vision for the future of Albanian music.

The festival ran from December 17 to 20 at the Palace of Congresses. Organizers said it promised emotions, surprises, and spectacular performances across four nights. On the first night, 14 artists performed their songs with full stage presentations.

Organizers kept the names of special guests secret until the opening night. Preparations reached the final stage to ensure the festival reflected its signature magic.

Festival scriptwriter Koloreto Cukali said the edition brought back Shkodra Elektronike, one year after their Eurovision performance. Bleona Qereti returned with an extravagant performance marking the 30th anniversary of her first song, “Lërmëni” [Leave Me Alone]. Tenor Ramë Lahaj and other guests also participated, he added.

The festival was hosted by singer Arilena Ara and comedian Salsano Rrapi. They led the show across four nights, where 28 artists competed with their songs.

RTSH Director General Eni Vasili confirmed in a social media post that Estonian singer Tommy Cash, who represented Estonia at Eurovision with “Espresso Macchiato,” performed on the fourth night.

Producer Belioza Çoku said the theme aimed to bring a modern and visionary approach to Albanian music. Conductor Alfred Kaçinari highlighted the inclusion of young singers as a main focus of the edition.

The festival featured two nights for performances judged by the public and jury, a third night dedicated to nostalgia and the festival’s history, and a final night to announce the winner who will represent Albania at Eurovision 2026.

Tickets for in-person attendance were available exclusively online via [www.myticket.al](http://www.myticket.al).

RTSH broadcast the festival, aiming to unite Albanian families in front of the screen, “where music connects generations.”
