The 7th South Outdoor Festival in Borsh this week served as a platform for discussions on various aspects of tourism and youth involvement. Minister Blendi Gonxhja highlighted topics including sustainable tourism practices, employment opportunities, and the role of youth in promoting responsible tourism. He noted a significant increase of over 63% in cultural tourism, indicating growing prospects for young professionals in the sector.

 Gonxhja stressed the importance of cultural sites as invaluable assets, emphasizing the need for collective contribution. The ministry prioritizes active youth engagement, especially during peak seasons like summer.

Festivals like the South Outdoor Festival provide excellent exposure for artisanal works, attracting interest from foreign visitors. State Minister Bora Muzhaqi also attended the event, where important discussions centered on activism, networking, and sustainable tourism.

Muzhaqi highlighted the inspiring conversations with young volunteers from “New Vision,” who successfully managed various aspects of the festival. She expressed delight at seeing Borsh bustling with young people and foreign tourists exploring Albania’s beauty. The 7th edition of the South Outdoor Festival took place in Borsh this week.
