Artists, academics and researchers came together on the 95th birth anniversary of Albanian famous composer Çesk Zadeja. In the framework of the 95th anniversary of the birth and the 25th anniversary of the death of Çesk Zadeja, the Academy of Sciences of Albania and the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo organized the inauguration of the book “Çesk Zadeja in Albanian music”, with the author acad. Vasil S. Tole, where part of the activity was an exhibition of photographs showing the life of Zade.

The President of the Academy of Academic Sciences Skënder Gjinushi gave the title of gratitude “Honor of the Academy” to the composer Zadeja, with the motivation: A unique personality in the history of Albanian music, who laid the foundations of its national school; with outstanding contributions as an ideator, implementer and director of central university and cultural institutions; personalities with original values in art and culture “, said Gjinushi Gjinushi said on this 95th birth anniversary of Zadeja. 

 After ten years of work, academician Vasil Tole brings the book “Czech Zadeja in Albanian music”. Tole said that everything is included in this book. “It is a classic biography of the type where information and documents regarding the personal life of the composer, harmoniously intertwined with his artistic contributions “, said Tole.

Çesk Zadeja, was born on the 8th of June 1927, in Shkodra. He is a wellknown Albanian composer. He is known as “The Father of Albanian Music”. He graduated from the Conservatory “Santa Çiçilia” in Rome. He holds the titles “People’s Art” and “Professor”, and many other orders and awards. Several national music events bear his name. Zadeja passed away on August 15, 1997, in Rome, Italy.
