The Minister of Culture, Elva Margariti, published the statistics of the income from the national museums of the last three years.

“The increase in interest towards museums depending on the Ministry of Culture, expressed through the increase in the number of visitors, but also the income, is an increased responsibility for raising our institutions to contemporary levels”, said Margariti.

From the graph published on the minister’s website, on social networks, the doubling of income compared to 2021 can be observed, while if the income of 2022 is compared with 2020, there is a 10-fold increase in income.

Accordingly, in 2020 the income from the national museums was about ALL8 million, in 2021 they reached about ALL38 million, while a year later the income was over ALL80 million.
