Opera opens the curtain for 2023 with ‘Notte D’Oscar’!

The Opera Theater activities for this year opens today with “Not’te d’Oscar”. The Italian conductor Giovanni Pompeo speaks about the cinema music composed by John Williams, which will be played today with the “Opera Orchestra”. The soundtracks created by the famous American composer John Williams, winner of 5 ‘Oscar’ awards, will be played by the Orchestra of the Opera House under the direction of the Italian artist Giovanni Pompeo.
It is the second time for the conductor to come to Albania, telling us what prompted him to approach the Albanian stage, but also to work with the orchestra.
“The theater has given this program the importance it does deserve, and this reflects once again the fact that the theater is growing a lot in the European ranks as well. And I can even say that I feel very proud to be here”
Even the artist himself shows that he has a personal experience, while he interprets the columns of Williams, from films like “Home Alone” or “Pirate of the Caribbean”.
“They are musical columns that bring me back to my childhood. It is enough to mention ‘Superman’ or ‘Indiana Jones’. But how can I say that ‘Harry Potter’ has not entered my heart’, even though it is from the last few years. So, maybe the secret of this music lies here, because it was liked 30 years ago, and the same now,” he continues.
Although film music, Pompeo says that in its creation, the magic of composing classical masterpieces is harmonized. A musical evening suitable for all ages, for which there is only one tip.
“What I can advise the public is to invite them to come and have fun and relax by having fun, becoming part of the show”,Pompeo said.
