National Theater stages the English comedy “To present my father”

The National Theater is preparing to stage the comedy “To present my father”, written by the master of English comedy, Alan Ayckbourn, winner of the “Tony Award” in 2010 and the “Laurence Olivier Award” in 2009.

This English comedy continues to be played on stages of the world’s most important theaters, since the success it reaped in 1965. It will come to the stage of ArTurbina with the direction of Adelina Muça, scenography by Marçela Llana and costumes by Lira Zahiri.

The work has only two acts and four characters. The roles are played by Gentian Zenelaj, Suela Bako, Ervin Doko and Alessia Xhemalaj.

“To present my father” or as it is universally known “Relatively Speaking” is a typical English example of “comedy of confusion” or ambiguities that are created to keep the audience in suspense and entertain.

The National Theater brings Ayckbourn’s comedy on January 11-15, on the stage of ArTurbina.
