The young composer Sergio Beqo was announced at the end of last year as the winner of the “Cesk Zadeja” international competition. The artist narrates his work inspired by the polyphonic song “A side of the mountain collapsed”, as well as what it is like to live in Albania, between the dream to compose and the challenges of everyday life.
“My creativity consists of 10 works of different styles and genres, a large part of which were made during the years of study”, says the young composer Sergio Beqo.

The jury praised him for his high artistic sensibility, support in the base of our polyphonic music. The artist himself shows that for him it was a challenge and full of emotions, experiencing with an abstract polyphonic lament, surrounded by modern sounds and expressions.
The other two winners in the competition were young composers Kris Sopiqoti and Jetmir Zaganjori.
