The Minister of Culture, Elva Margariti, participated today in the meeting of the Coordinating Council of the Diaspora, which took place in Tirana.

Evaluating this meeting as of particular importance, Margariti said that, “at the Diaspora Coordinating Council, every step taken by the Albanian Government to maintain strong ties between Albanians, wherever they are scattered around the world and Albania”, as she added that, “one of these connecting threads is definitely culture”.

“It is not enough to go where the Albanians are, but to invite them here”, said the minister.

Margariti pointed out that we have undertaken such inviting initiatives throughout the year 2022.

“Suffice it to mention the Rejuvenation Bonus that encourages Albanians to invest in their homes in historic archeology centers or the International Cultural Weeks, during which excellent artists came, who restored ties with their country of origin,” said Margariti.
