The 9th edition of the National Book Fair, which is held from December 15-18, has started in Fier. According to the organizer of the “Fieri 2022” Fair, Majlinda Rama, this event serves as a promotion of literature in all its scope and dimensions by creating dialogue spaces for the regulation of the market, as she emphasized that this year there are 1500 titles, brought by publishers of big ones like Buzuku i Kosova, Toena, Onufri, Bota e Arte, etc.

Participant in this activity was the well-known writer Fatmir Toci, who appealed for more support from the institutions for the book while also giving a message to young people to be closer to the book.

During the fair, several scientific meetings will be held, while dozens of Albanian and foreign authors will be promoted. This event comes as every year under the organization of the “Harpa” Cultural Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the National Book and Reading Center, as well as writers’ clubs from Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia.
