The “Pianodrom” festival organized yesterday evening a concert with 11 works by Albanian composers, at the University of Arts of Tirana.

A significant place in the composition of the program was occupied by traditional composers, who laid strong foundations in the development of professional Albanian musical art, the basis on which later composers followed.

But alongside them are also the works of young composers, with their tendency to always search for the expression of ideas and new creative concepts, towards a more contemporary and avant-garde language.

It was a very interesting concert, not only in terms of cognitive curiosity, but also with the excellent performance of the pianist Kristina Petrollari Laço. In this “Pianodrome” concert, premiere works were performed for our public by composers K. Alickaj, V. Beqiri, L. Jupolli, I. Mehmetaj, B. Shehu, D. Zyberi, E. Bejo, two works by Th. Simaku, two works R. Rudi.

The concert ended with two works “Brilliant Staccato” based on the motifs of the film “In our house” and “Brilliant Chame Dance” by the composer Aleksandër Peçi. The first for two pianos played by the duo Zdrava e Gjura and the second played by Armando Nunka.
