The 110th anniversary of the Independence of Albania also coincides with the 110th anniversary of the creation of the Albanian army.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Albania organize for the first time on December 3, 2022, at 19:00 at the Palace of Congresses, the grand concert “110 years of the Armed Forces – Together for peace”.

Prime Minister Edi Rama in a post on social networks said that “over 300 artists from the Symphony Orchestra of the Armed Forces, the Band of the Albanian Army as well as the Bands of the armies of Kosovo, NATO countries, such as the USA, Great Britain, France, Italy, Greece, North Macedonia, Croatia and Slovenia will perform at the concert”.

Rama announced that the profits from the tickets will go to support families with children injured by the war in Ukraine.

This is the first time that an activity of this dimension takes place in Albania. Supporters of this activity are: the Ministry of Culture, the municipality of Tirana and the Embassy of Ukraine in Albania.
