“Through the lens of reading” is a photographic exhibition, which aims to bring attention to the importance of reading for the young generation through the lens of the camera.

The photos are art paper printed in black and white in various sizes. Photographer Dauti presents the magic of reading through the lens of his camera. The protagonists are ordinary people who join in a common process, that of reading, as old as time itself.

Each individual experiences the process uniquely by connecting with the most intimate parts of their soul.

At a time when young people, apart from textbooks, are mainly focused on electronic devices, this exhibition comes as an invitation to challenge current trends and return to reading books.

A cultural event that combines many forms of art such as photography, music, reading poems (by Ema Andrea), books on the shelves and virtual exhibitions for those who will follow it virtually.

This cultural event aims to raise awareness of the importance of reading among young people and their active involvement in cultural activities that leave a mark and generate engagement and action in society.

The exhibition will remain open on November 26-27 in the premises of the “Ismail Kadare” house museum and the “Tulla” Cultural Center.
