Tirana International Film Festival comes on its 20th anniversary, with a high number of participating films, in the “official competition”.

One of the most interesting categories is “Feature”, where 7 films compete for the prize. Among them is an Albanian production, from 2022, directed by Xhoslin Rama.

“The Legend and the Walking Stick” is a feature-length drama film (105′), produced by Erafilm with the financial support of the National Center of Cinematography. The film has an admirable cast, with actors such as Ndriçim Xhepa, Vasjan Lami, Amos Zaharia, Amri Hasanlliu, Klodiana Keco, Ervin Bejleri, Ermira Gjata and others. At the center of the story is a Franciscan monk, under the communist regime.

Other films competing in the “feature” category come from Poland, Russia, Ukraine, 2 productions from Romania as well as a co-production between the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
