The 5th edition of short films is being held in Korça, with participants from 28 countries around the world. The novelty of this edition is the special program “Focus Kosovo”, curated by DokoFest with the best cinematographic films.
 72 films from 28 countries of the world will be shown for 5 nights in this Film Festival.
The first night of the international film festival brought together local and foreign actors, directors and producers at the Archaeological Museum of Korça.
“It is a special event as we are starting a collaboration with Korca short Film Festival, which will last for several years. Today, the special thing is that the program opens with Focus on Kosovo. We have films that premiered at the festival in Cannes, won awards at the “Sun Dance Festival”, we present films that have been presented at prestigious international festivals”, said Eroll Bilibani, director of Doku Festival Kosovo.

“This year there are 72 films from 28 countries of the world. What is special this year is the program “Focus Kosovo”, since every year we choose a country in focus. This year we chose Kosovo because in recent years there have been some successes and there is an increase in the quality of cinematography”, director of Korca Short Film Festival, Gledis Bica said.

The first night of the Korca Short Film Festival was organized in the archaeological museum of the city of Korça and will continue until July 17.
