Authors and the best works of contemporary Albanian literature, published in Italian were present this year at the Albanian stand at the International Book Salon, the 34th edition of which took place in Turin, Italy from 19 to May 23, 2022.

The Turin International Salon is the largest and most important literary event of the neighboring country. The four pavilions of the fair, where in addition to large publishing houses exhibited hundreds of small and high-quality publishers, are visited every year by hundreds of thousands of visitors and thousands of journalists from around the world.

Albania’s participation with a special stand has been enabled for ten years now by the Albanian Culture Center, one of the largest and most active organizations of the Albanian community, in Italy and the EU.

Albania’s stand in the 2022 edition, which is considered by the organizers as the greatest of all time, offers to the Italian-speaking public more than 200 titles, by over 80 contemporary Albanian authors, published by 31 different Italian publishing houses.
