Albania is represented in the 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, a new initiative coming from the Creative Industry Agency (part of the Municipality of Tirana).

For the first time, in the stand that represents Albania in one of the most important festivals of category A, Tirana will be represneted differently. The film office, part of the Creative Industry Agency (part of the Municipality of Tirana), will be promoted in the Film Market in Cannes. The capital will now serve as a location for absorbing as many foreign productions as possible, from Netflix productions to European author films, which will see Tirana from the perspective of the ideal place to shoot the next project. This is an initiative that is expected to bring benefits not only to film industry, but tourism as well.

  Tirana will appear on world screens, being uniquely represented in the most important period of the year in the field of cinematography.
