The artist will be invited to a local TV show for the end-of-year holidays, and the head of state emphasizes that Anna comes from a prominent Arbëresh family, in Lungro, Calabria, who has been lovingly inheriting the language, culture, traditions and traditional Arbëresh costumes.

“Anna comes from a prominent Arbëresh family, in Lungro, Calabria, who has been lovingly inheriting the language, culture, traditions and traditional Arbëresh costumes for 15 generations. Her grandfather, Vincenzo Stratigò was an Arbëresh revolutionary poet associated with our National Renaissance and a friend of Garibaldi. His poems with patriotic, social and love themes testify, not only for a sharp social awareness but also the great love and pride of being Arbëresh, as evidenced by some of the verses of his poem “Sono Albanese” (“I am Albanian “) Written in 1857 ″, said Meta.
