Some of the most important treasures, antiques and rare books from 1860 to the end of the XIX th century  preserved in the funds of the Central Archive of the state have become part of the exhibition opened today in the Castle of Tirana “Treasures from the Library of the Archive”.

Hidden for years from the public eye, 15 antiques preserved in the Central State Archive have appeared this time in the exhibition “Treasures from the Archive Library” in Tirana Castle. These are sacred works, dictionaries of several languages and works of art dating from 1860 to the end of the 19th century.

For the Minister of Culture Elva Margariti, such exhibitions are an added value and a good opportunity to be closer to scholars, students and all interested parties. The exhibition “Treasures from the Archive Library” will remain open on the 15th-16th of June at the Castle of the Capital for visitors interested in the history of these works.
