During his official visit to Kosova, Defense Minister Pirro Vengu met with Prime Minister Albin Kurti. In a social media update, Vengu detailed their discussion, emphasizing the focus on strengthening defense cooperation.

Vengu also noted that they addressed the “essential interoperability” with allies to bolster Kosova’s international status.

“Today in Kosova, we discussed both the existing relations and new opportunities for our shared path. In a very open and friendly meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, we concentrated on enhancing defense cooperation, regional stability, and the necessary interoperability with our allies to reinforce Kosova’s international standing. Joint investments in resources and human capital are key to collective security,” Vengu writes.
