Hasani meets Thaçi in The Hague: He will not lack our support; the judicial process will be transparent

Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani met the former president of Kosova, Hashim Thaçin, at the International Court of Justice in The Hague.
After the meeting with Thaçi, Hasani said that he has guaranteed the former President that Albania’s support will not be lacking in any case.
Likewise, Hasani said that he has informed Thaçi on the latest developments in the region and also assured that the Albanian justice system will insist on an open and transparent judicial process.
“Today in The Hague I met with President Hashim Thaçi. I found him in a good state of mind, optimistic and with unwavering faith that the right will triumph.
He is aware that court proceedings are a marathon with ups and downs, the one who is psychologically prepared wins the race.
I assured Mr.Thaçi that our support will not be lacking in any case and for anything.
The Albanian people do not forget the efforts and sacrifices of their own sons, yesterday in war and today in peace.
I informed the president about the latest developments in the country and the region as well as about our unsparing efforts for peace, stability and development. Albanian diplomacy will insist on implementing standards for an open and transparent judicial process in full respect of human rights according to international conventions.
