The European Green Agenda, Albania and the countries of the region benefit from EU support

Albania has entered the European Union’s support map for the Green Agenda. In support of the European platform EU4Green, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosova, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia have their own lane of the Green Agenda implementation
The supported projects aim to build joint energies, encourage new ideas, improve the quality of decisions on regulatory reforms and encourage monitoring reporting. Part of the supported activities occupies the strengthening of communication and cooperation between decision makers, key regional institutions and interested parties.
In addition to identifying and promoting appropriate policies, EU support aims to create frameworks for monitoring the implementation of the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans at the regional level, but also support of the beneficiaries in establishing and implementing monitoring and reporting at the national level.
The expectations of the project, which lasts until 2025, is to increase awareness until the introduction of the Green Agenda into the educational programs, and to involve the scientific institutions as the reflection of the agenda in the financial mechanisms.
