Ministers Balla and Hasani in Pristina to pay their tributes in honor of the martyr Afrim Bunjaku

The Minister of the Interior of Albania, Taulant Balla, as well as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, have left for Kosovo, where they will participate in the tributes in honor of the police officer who fell in the line of duty, Afrim Bunjaku, during a Serbian attack in the north of Kosovo.
The incident occurred yesterday morning, which shocked the entire region. The Kosovo Special Forces responded swiftly to the armed group, resulting in the elimination of three Serbs and the apprehension of six others.
The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, right after the attack declared September 25th as a day of national mourning in honor of Bunjaku, who is now recognized as a martyr of the homeland.
Therefore, today in Kosovo is a day of mourning in honor of police officer Afrim Bunjaku, who was killed a day ago in the north of Mitrovica after a gun attack by an armed Serb group. Tributes to him are expected to occur throughout the day, followed by a final procession.
