The President of Kosova, Vjosa Osmani writes in a post from New York, saying that it is very important for Kosova to participate in organizations together with other world leaders within the annual session of the United Nations Assembly.

“Even though Kosova is not part of the UN, its leaders have traditionally come during this week to meet our friends and to create friendship with world leaders,” she declared.

The Kosovan president says that the most important meeting is the one with the president of the US, Joe Biden, who will organize a reception for the leaders who participate in this session.

“In bilateral meetings with other leaders, I will convey the voice of the Republic of Kosova, not only for regional developments, but also how Kosova can be a factor that can contribute to other global challenges that we are all dealing with together,” she said.

The President of Kosova, Vjosa Osmani has traveled to New York, as part of the 78th session of the United Nations Assembly, where she is expected to hold meetings with world leaders and international organizations.

“The president has been invited to participate in the official reception organized by the US president, Joe Biden.

“During her meetings with her counterparts, Vjosa Osmani will talk about the latest developments in Kosova and about Kosova’s goals for establishing relations with UN member states and membership in international organizations,” it is further stated in announcement of the Presidency.

She will also participate in many activities and discussions organized by the allied countries. In addition to meetings, the president will hold discussions at some of the most prestigious universities and institutions in the US.
