The Brdo-Brijuni/Skopje summit brings together the leaders of the Western Balkans today

Today, on September 11th, in Skopje, North Macedonia, the Summit of the Heads of States in the Brdo-Brijuni Process will be held, with the participation of the President of Albania, Bajram Begaj.
This meeting is organized by three countries: North Macedonia, Slovenia, and Croatia.
The leaders are expected to approve a joint statement in which regional challenges and priorities will be highlighted, with a particular focus on the integration of the Balkan countries into the EU.
Participating countries include Albania, Kosovo, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro.
The Brdo-Brijuni Summit is an annual multilateral organization in the Western Balkans, established in 2013 by Slovenian President Borut Pahor and Croatian President Ivo Josipović.
Over the course of two days, President Begaj will engage in bilateral meetings and also meet with the leaders of Albanian political parties.
