The anniversary of the Reçak massacre, Kosova heads of state pay homage at the memorial complex

Kosova heads of state and many citizens paid tribute in Reçak in honor of the 45 Albanians murdered and massacred by Slobodan Milosevic’s regime.
Speaker of Parliament Glauk Konjufca, President Vjosa Osmani, Prime Minister Albin Kurti accompanied by the ambassador, William Walker, former head of the OSCE Monitoring Mission in Kosova in the 1999, laid wreaths at the memorial.
Kosova Minister of Defense, Armend Mehaj, along with the Deputy Minister, Shemsi Syla and leaders of the Kosova Security Force also paid their respects. Meanwhile, the chairman of the Democratic League of Kosova, Lumir Abdixhiku, was also present, and paid his respects at the graves of those murdered in Reçak.
On January 15, 1999, in the village of Reçak, 45 civilians were barbarically murdered and massacred by Slobodan Milosevic’s Serbian forces.
