The agreement between Albania and Kosovo for opening the joint border crossing point Shishtavec-Kurshevë was approved today.

The approved agreement was on the facilitation of procedures and conditions for obtaining a temporary residence permit between Albania and Kosovo.

Decisions / Pursuant to Article 100 of the Constitution and Article 19 of Law no. 43/2016, “On international agreements in the Republic of Albania”, on the proposal of the Minister of Interior, the Council of Ministers decided the approval of the amending agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, for the opening of the joint border crossing point Shishtavec (Kukës) – Kurshevë (Dragash), according to the text attached to this decision.

This decision enters into force after its publication in the “Official Gazette”.
