Albanian President Bajram Begaj met today (June 7) with the Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, General Metin Gürak.

During the meeting, President Begaj emphasized the strong relationship between Albania and Turkey across all sectors. He highlighted the excellent cooperation in security and defense between the two countries.

As the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Begaj thanked General Gürak for Turkey’s ongoing support in the education and training of Albanian military personnel.

The President also expressed his appreciation for the integration of Bayraktar drones into the Albanian military and Turkey’s assistance to Kosova, including support for the Kosova Security Force and Turkey’s current command within KFOR.
