Albanian Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi, during his official visit in Zagreb at the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Croatia, Ivan Anušić, met with the President of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic.

Peleshi said that Milanovic is a strong supporter of Albania on the Euro-Atlantic integration path.

“Croatia’s role in the security and peace of the Western Balkans is very important and we are privileged to have such a strong and dedicated ally,” Peleshi emphasized in a post on social networks.

The purpose of the visit was the intensification of bilateral relations between the two countries, with special emphasis on Security and Defense, addressing the current issues of the Western Balkans region and wider, cooperation within NATO and other regional and international initiatives.
