Prime Minister Edi Rama announced today that Albania will strongly support Kosovo in implementing the Basic Agreement with Serbia.

Rama emphasized, “I could not be more proud of Albania’s determined and concrete contribution to the challenging process of normalizing relations between Kosovo and Serbia.”

However, Rama added, “the ASMM draft statute, accepted by Kosovo and Serbia as a suitable working document, is an EU project.

“Albania will strongly support Kosovo in implementing the Basic Agreement and continue to promote peace, stability, and regional cooperation with all our neighboring countries,” Rama stated.

The Prime Minister declared that he will visit Pristina soon to show his support.
