Rama proposes a joint session between parliaments of the two countries in November

At the 8th joint meeting of the governments of Albania and Kosovo, Prime Minister Edi Rama asked for a further step, a joint session between the parliaments of the two countries. Rama proposed that this joint Assembly be held in November, which coincides with the 110th anniversary of Albania’s independence.
During the joint meeting of the two governments, Rama said that the meeting in a chamber of the two parliaments, where he and Albin Kurti address the issues will put an end to all critical voices that slogans of meetings like today’s “United” are not vain, but have their importance for both governments and the Albanian people.
“In November, we will hold the first joint assembly, where our two parliaments will meet in one room. It was agreed to give me and Albin the privilege of addressing this joint assembly room. If we have a joint assembly, we give the message to all those who read the slogans that they are not empty and that today’s slogan ‘united’ will be followed by the November assembly, ending the critical voices,” Rama said.
The logo of the 8th joint meeting of the governments of Kosovo and Albania being held in Pristina is the word “united” with an infinite sign in the national colors red and black.
