Shkodran football legend Sabah Bizi has passed away today at the age of 79.

In response to his death, Shkodra’s Mayor, Benet Beci, expressed his condolences through a post on social media, describing it as a sad day not only for the sports community but for the entire city of Shkodra.

“A name that brought many trophies and glory to Shkodra. The emotions he brought to the passionate fans of Vllaznia will forever remain in the memory of Shkodra and all of Albania,” said Beci.

Born on November 13, 1946, Sabah Bizi played for Shkodra’s Vllaznia, Tirana’s Partizani, and the Albanian national football team.
