The well-known instrumentalist Pandush Gjezi passed away. The news was announced by his family members.

Born and raised in Durrës, Gjezi was known as a virtuoso violinist. He started his journey by continuously increasing the musical culture in his studies at Jordan Misja artistic high school and the University of Arts. At the age of 21, Gjezi excelled in the “May Decade” with a sonata for violin and orchestra by Česk Zadeja. He then worked in the orchestra of the Opera and Ballet Theater and that of the Albanian Radio Television. Gjezi emigrated to Greece where he worked with the orchestra. While his skills caught the eye of specialists, who offered him career opportunities in Spain.

He has performed solo on violin and orchestra in the most popular halls of Barcelona, to conquer the renowned artistic environments of Madrid. In addition, Pandush Gjeci made amazing tours in Italy, Germany, Austria, France, America, Mexico and China. Gjezi has also toured Italy, Germany, Austria, France, America, Mexico and China.

In March, Gjeci was awarded by the city of Durrës with the title “Ambassador of the city” as a well-known musician with an excellent career in the country and abroad.
