The well-known Albanian actor, Pandi Siku, passed away at the age of 73 this Tuesday morning. 

The actor was born in Tirana on July 28. After graduating from the High Institute of Arts, in 1972, he started working at the National Theater until 2001, when he emigrated to the USA. He has mainly played secondary roles, such as in the plays Epoka before the trial (Shpend Dragobia, 1978), Furnace(Bardhi, 1979, with which he won the “Best Actor” award in secondary roles), Communists (Rrema, 1981) , Romeo and Juliet (Mercutio, 1987), Two Gentlemen from Verona (Valentini, 1990), Quo Vadis (part of the Chorus, 1997, with which he won the “Best Actor” award for supporting roles).
