President Vjosa Osmani of Kosovo extended her congratulations to Donald Trump upon his swearing-in as the 47th President of the United States. In a post on the platform X, she reaffirmed Kosovo’s readiness to collaborate with President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and the new administration to strengthen the special relationship between the two nations, promote shared values of freedom, and address contemporary global challenges.

“Kosovo will always carry a deep sense of gratitude for the historic role the United States has played in supporting us through some of the darkest chapters of our history,” Osmani wrote in her message.

She added, “Your country’s unwavering commitment to defending freedom and human dignity has rescued our people from a genocidal regime.”

President Osmani also highlighted Kosovo’s unique bond with the United States, stating proudly, “We remain the most pro-American nation in the world.”

Donald Trump took the oath of office on January 20, marking his second term as President, having previously served from 2017 to 2021.

In his inaugural address, President Trump emphasized domestic priorities, declaring, “The golden age of America begins now.”
