Kosova’s European integration was the central topic during discussions between Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the newly elected President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, in Brussels.

During their meeting, Prime Minister Kurti emphasized Kosova’s firm commitment to advancing on the path toward EU membership.

“I had the pleasure of meeting President Antonio Costa in Brussels, who is also hosting a dinner with leaders from the Western Balkans tonight. I congratulated him on his new role and wished him success in his efforts. I offered strong cooperation, as Kosova remains unwavering in its dedication to joining the European family, where it truly belongs,” Kurti said.

In response, President Costa assured that the future of the Western Balkans lies within the European Union.

“Let’s work together to make this vision a reality. This is the message I shared with Kaja Kallas and Marta Kos at tonight’s dinner with the Western Balkans leaders,” Costa affirmed.
