The U.S. Department of State has condemned the attack by Serbian groups that damaged the Ibër-Lepenc water canal in Zubin Potok.

In a statement on the social media platform ‘X,’ State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller reaffirmed support for efforts to identify and hold those responsible accountable. He also noted that the U.S. would consider all offers of assistance to aid in this process.

Miller expressed gratitude to emergency responders and others, including KFOR, for their swift action in restoring the vital water supply.

“We condemn the November 29 attack on Kosova’s water supply system. We will support efforts to find and hold those responsible accountable, and we appreciate all offers of assistance. We thank the emergency personnel and others, including KFOR, for their crucial role in restoring essential services,” Miller said.
