KFOR Commander, Major General Enrico Barduani, met today with President Vjosa Osmani to discuss the current situation and the ongoing cooperation between KFOR and Kosova’s institutions.

Barduani reiterated his mission’s commitment to a peaceful and stable Kosova and emphasized the continuous and strong collaboration with local security organizations. He highlighted the importance of regular communication and coordination for ensuring sustainable security across the country and the region.

He also noted KFOR’s close cooperation with the European Union on the ground, including support for the EU-facilitated dialogue aimed at normalizing Kosova-Serbia relations.

KFOR continues to fulfill its mandate by contributing to a secure environment for all people and communities in Kosova, ensuring freedom of movement at all times and impartially, as stated in the press release.
