German Ambassador to Albania, Karl Bergner, signed an agreement with Françeska Muço, Director of the Network of Young Professionals, to support the Internship Program for Young Professionals in the Western Balkans.

In a social media post, Ambassador Bergner stated that the program’s goals are to promote regional economic cooperation and human capital development in the Western Balkans, strengthen mobility and professional skills of youth, and foster a more favorable environment for cross-border collaboration between companies and NGOs. This initiative is a key contribution to regional agendas.

“The program supports EU integration and economic development in the Western Balkans by promoting the free movement of young professionals and creating a supportive network for regional cooperation among companies and NGOs. Twelve scholars from the Western Balkans will have the opportunity to complete internships in one of the BP6 countries, enhance their skills through dedicated training, gain practical professional experience, and exchange knowledge regionally. This is a crucial step toward promoting human capital and ensuring a brighter future for the region,” said Ambassador Bergner.
