North Atlantic Alliance announced on Monday that approximately 200 troops from the Allied Response Force will be deployed for the first time in Kosova and North Macedonia. The exercise, which will run from September 30 to October 16, aims to test the readiness of the troops and their support for KFOR, if needed.

Fifty troops will be deployed in Kosova, and 150 in North Macedonia. NATO stated that this deployment sends a clear message of the Alliance’s strong determination and commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the region, as well as its capability and readiness to respond to any situation.

According to NATO, the Allied Response Force, established in July of this year, is a high-readiness strategic force with multi-domain capabilities. This force can be rapidly deployed and provide defense assistance in various circumstances.
