Finland’s Foreign Minister, Elina Valtonen, is set to begin her official visit to Kosovo this Thursday, September 5th.

Valtonen will be received by Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, at 3:00 PM. During the meeting, discussions will focus on Kurti’s decision regarding the opening of the Ibar Bridge and vehicle circulation.

In addition to meeting with Kurti, Valtonen will also hold talks with Foreign Minister Donika Gërvalla.

Valtonen’s visit to Kosovo follows her trip to Albania, where she met with Foreign Minister Igli Hasani. The discussions in Albania centered on strengthening security, the integration of the Western Balkan region into the EU, and increasing economic cooperation between Albania and Finland.
