European Union measures against Kosova remain in effect and could be adjusted depending on the situation, according to EU spokesperson Peter Stano. He emphasized that Kosova’s international partners are advising Prishtina administration to avoid engaging in counterproductive, negative, unilateral, and uncoordinated actions.

Stano clarified that the EU’s measures are progressive, meaning they can be either increased or decreased based on the evolving situation. “These measures are still in place, and we have indicated that they can be adjusted if all EU actors agree. Our stance on recent events, such as the closure of Serbian Post offices and the unilateral efforts to open the bridge over river Ibër, has been communicated clearly to Kosova’s counterparts. We hope the administration in Prishtina will heed this advice and refrain from further counterproductive actions, to avoid prompting us to consider additional measures,” Stano stated.

He confirmed that the measures remain in effect for now.
