President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, who is currently on a visit to Washington, met with the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, on the sidelines of the NATO summit. According to an official statement from the Kosovo Presidency, during the meeting, the two leaders discussed the importance of Kosovo’s progress on its Euro-Atlantic path, particularly the necessary steps towards NATO membership, an alliance crucial for security and peace in our region and beyond.

President Osmani emphasized that this meeting serves to coordinate our positions and joint efforts so that Kosovo can join Albania and other allied states as a full member of NATO as soon as possible, where it rightfully belongs.
