The European Union has cautioned against speculating on the report compiled by EU High Representative Josep Borrell regarding measures against Kosova. According to Peter Stano, the EU’s spokesperson for Foreign Affairs and Security, the submission timeline and content of the report are internal EU institutional matters, and external actors should refrain from speculation.

Stano emphasized that the report deals with EU institutional dynamics, and emphasized that outsiders should not speculate on its contents or deadlines. He reiterated the call for all parties to take steps to reduce tensions in northern Kosova.

Stano noted that both the Kosova government and the Serbian side too have an obligation to do everything possible to avoid any potential escalation.
